For a girl wearing a green blouse may wind up topless should a green background be used. More then one color background may be required. You need contrast between the subject and the background color to be able to replace the background easily. IMO a white background in most cases would be best. In a studio it is easy capture an image that can have its background easily replaced. Looked like any employee could take a shot click a few button to show different backgrounds then press print and make the sale. There they have a Green screen set up that uses caned software to replace the green screen background with the Orange County Choppers crew. The other day I was over in the new OCC show room store. The plug-ins I have tried all have many tools to address difficult extraction problem areas. Extracting is not a simple single click thing. Like many Photoshop tools take knowledge and practice most specialized extraction plug-ins require learning and practice with all of their tools. I'm not saying Fluid Mask 3 is not as good as Photoshop Tools.

The best tools for extracting and object are the tools you know how to use well. There is no magic tools out there at least I have not found one. All have a learning cure all have problems with some things. I have tried several Photoshop Plug-ins to extract complex objects. You can of course create one by selecting the transparency of the cutout layer it creates. However as far as I can tell it may itself use mask internally it produces a cutout for you does not help you create a mask. Some day I will take the time to learn how to use Fluid Mask well. Its not all that easy to use once installed. I have a copy of Fluid Mask, 3 don't really use it.
